My name is Kayla, and I’m just an average mum, wife, and animal lover—until you put a camera in my hand. I use details, landscapes, and light to bring photos to life and give them soul.
You aren’t just hiring me to take pictures; you’re choosing me to capture the essence of who you are and trusting me to illustrate your story. Whether you’re in love, engaged, have a family, or are expecting a new baby, my purpose is to create a timeless story that reflects you and this pivotal moment in time. I am a creative introvert who loves to step back and capture raw emotion and candid moments. My clients often tell me I capture their personalities perfectly. I value authenticity, emotion, and loving moments soaked in sunlight.
My images aren’t your run-of-the-mill “sit and smile for the camera” snapshots. I strive to have each gallery reveal the excitement and emotion of every moment as it unfolds.
From family sessions to engagement sessions, and from maternity to newborn shoots—I will capture your personality through my lens in a way that feels authentically you.
I want you to feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera. I will be honest with you about styling choices, help you relax while I’m shooting, and leave you excited to see your gallery! My ultimate goal is to deliver a finished product that looks like you, fits like your favourite pair of jeans, and is an authentic reflection of who you are.
How do we receive our gallery?
You will receive an online gallery, via email or message to let you know that your gallery is ready to view and make your selections. From there, you can download and even order prints right from gallery.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
After the session is completed and all payements have been made, you will recieve some "sneaks" or "previews" of your session within two weeks. You can expect a full gallery delivered to you in about 1-3 weeks.
How can we prepare for our session?
Every session is unique and different in there own way. Reach out with questions. Want to bring something or incorporate something into your session? PLEASE! I highly encourage props for any session.
If you have kiddos, talk about the session before coming and get them excited. Snacks are great option and bribe ;)
